After the late lunch, we strolled along the Thames briefly, taking in the site of the London Eye, Parliament, and Big Ben. The drizzle was just perfect, adding a very memorable feel to the walk, but not so bad that we got terribly wet. Even though it was barely 4:30, darkness had prevailed, adding even more to the memory of that stroll.
We wound up taking a dinner in The Wellington, sharing a very large Fish and Chips along with Sea Bass. It really was perfect in that the upstairs restaurant portion was only about a quarter full, making it a perfect last dinner for us.
As our final event in London, I took Melba by the Strand Hotel where we had a drink in The Mask Bar, another of the more memorable haunting places from my previous trips. Then, all too quickly, our third day drew to a close, and we retired for our last night in the suite.

I am very grateful to Mark, for the wonderful company and great memories of enjoying the Christmas holiday season together in London.
I wish the vacation/adventure was a little longer ;-)
